5月に日本に短期留学のために来日していた
フリッピンのカリタスドンボスコスクールの皆さんから
感謝の詩が届きました。

（日本を発つとき全員で英語で読んでくれた詩でした）

I
日の出ずる国日本
文化が豊富で楽しいところ
何を期待すればいいか分からないほどの
多くの思い出を日本は私たちにくれた

マニラから成田までひとっとび
日本の名所はとても古典的な気分になる
秋葉原、鎌倉、東京は本当にすばらしかった
たとえ私たちが歩き疲れたとしても

この経験は私達にとって祝福、恵み
たくさんの思い出を私たちが忘れない
出会ったすべての人に感謝
日本にいることは本当に素晴らしい気分

暖かい歓迎を本当にありがとう
私たちへのもてなし
これらの感謝を充分に表現することはできません
しかしこれらの思い出は決して消えることはないでしょう

Japan is the land of the rising sun
It is rich in culture and is a lot of fun
You never know what to expect
Japan gave us a lot of memories to collect

We came from Manila to Narita real quick
Seeing the sights of Japan gave us a feeling so classic
Akihabara, Kamakura and Tokyo were really stunning
Even if we got tired of all the walking

For us this experience is a blessing
The memories we have we won’t forget
We are grateful to everyone we have met
To be here is truly a wonderful feeling

Thank you so much for the warm welcome
In taking care of us and for the days to come
We may not express fully what we feel inside
But surely these memories will never subside
